Share Your Closet For A New Wardrobe
by echochan-blog @ NHK ECO CHANNEL
Excerpts:
Give a little, get a little and expand your wardrobe for free!
That’s exactly what I did at the “Eco Products” Fair held at Tokyo Big Site last weekend. For a report on “sharing,” I focused on a special group called “Xchange.”
The group encourages bringing in old clothing, shoes, and accessories in exchange for used items brought in by others.
…
This report on “sharing” will be part of a new series on the program, “Green Style Japan,” which will be aired every Wednesday in February 2011 (23:00-0:00 UTC) on NHK World.
That’s all for the excerpts, now…
Personal Opinion and Notes from DS:
You can watch the TV program here in Indonesia on NHK World, “Green Style Japan” every Thursday,
(next one would be on) Feb 10, 2011
(lookup the link below for schedules with Hong Kong Time zone, and substract the hour by one)
at 6.30, 10.30, 14.30, 18.30, 22.30.
Outdated wardrobes are often given away or thrown away, and some aren’t made of environment-friendly materials. Also thanks to fashion consumerism and the rate of which these clothes were produced, and how the fashion industry encouraged people to keep up and buy new lines of clothes, you do the math then.
If you have the time, watch the program and help keep our planet green.
Cheers!
